Comments: Yankee Candle rolled out “Passport to the Holidays” and “Hello, Italy” collections in the past six months to bring luxurious getaways to the comfort of home. Scents in the holidays collection ranged from Parisian holiday brunch to a Munich Christmas market and London Christmas tea. Scents in the Italy collection—a trendy vacation hotspot—includes Capri Glow, reminiscent of Capri’s sandy beaches with scents of amber, frangipani blossoms and citrus zest to Azure Sky with aromas of mango, coconut, solar tuberose to “wash over” wick lighters like a gentle wave on the Positano coastline. Lemon gelato mimic the frozen treat with scents of icy lemon, gelato and fizzy citrus. 

Corporate sales fell 6.8% last year to  $7.6 billion, reflecting a core sales decrease of 3.4%, as well as the impact of certain category exits and unfavorable foreign exchange. Sales are expected to fall 2-4% this year. But Newell expects product launches to lift sales in the second half of 2025.
